Behind the Scenes: Crafting Event Horizon
A look inside the making of Event Horizon — a driving techno/trance track with deep bass, sharp synths, and smooth female vocals, inspired by cosmic themes and late-night raves.

There’s something magical about that moment in a rave when the world falls away. The bass pulses, the synths slice through the haze, and everything sharpens — like stepping off a cliff into pure sound. That’s what I wanted to capture with Event Horizon.
This track wasn’t made in a sterile studio or by following formulas. It started as a feeling — the pull of something bigger than ourselves, like the invisible gravity of a black hole dragging everything inward. You know the feeling: the music builds, tension coils tight, and then… boom — the drop hits, and suddenly you’re weightless, lost, alive.
I layered deep, rolling bass that feels like it shakes the floor beneath your feet, then added crisp synths that cut through the fog like stars glinting in the void. Over it all, I brought in a female vocal that’s smooth and airy — warm enough to humanize the cosmic vastness, but ethereal enough to feel like it’s coming from somewhere beyond.
The lyrics echo that sense of surrender, that moment when you let go and just fall into the music and the moment:
Event horizon calling my name
A cosmic fire wild untamed
Spinning faster caught in the glow
Into the dark I let myself go
Working on this song was like navigating a sonic black hole — pushing and pulling elements until they found that perfect orbit. Balancing raw energy with space, urgency with calm. It’s a journey I hope anyone listening can feel — whether on a packed dancefloor or alone with headphones in the dark.
If you’ve ever lost yourself in a drop, you know what I mean.
